"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff." - The Doctor

one of the benefits of living in WA, hearing it 2 hours early… but not really

Thanks to Jon for reminding me! I heard the ads for it on the radio in the car, made a mental note to listen to it, hopped out the car and forgot about it. so much for mental notes…

When people start saying about competition, then everyone starts losing it. It’s all about doing your best on there [on stage].
- Bliss n Eso answering Richard Kingsmill’s question about whether or not there is competition in the Australian hip-hop scene at Splendour in the Grass.

SO the world didn’t end today.

And triplej got me thinking - If the apocalypse did roll around what ONE SONG would you whack on your stereo? Ask me your choice.

Mine would be: Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac

artofjournalism:

Increasing nuclear risk sees Australians struggle to get out of Japan. We find out what DFAT’s doing to help them? We check in with Libya where Gaddafi’s son says the rebellion will be over in two days. Also… HACK visits a flood ravaged Brisbane street where only five out of nineteen households have moved back in.

This is Hack’s (triplej) description of its podcast on Wednesday 16th March. I would like you guys to focus on the smartphone application, FACECASH, that allows phones to pay anything. This application is at the moment only for the United States, but they have plans to extend the application for Australia. I am supicious of this since, you are going through a third party application which removes you from the control of your money. You don’t have proper control about who has your data, and who can access your data.

Referring to my previous post about HACK contacting me, this is the post I promised :)

I got asked by triplej HACK to have a convo with Tom yesterday

unfortunately, the good old time difference between the eastern states and Perth meant that when i return the call they just finished the segment.

BUT STILL I GOT ASKED BY THE TRIPLE J. Do you guys know what that remotely means to someone who wants to work in the radio system and her dream job is working for HACK???

A day later, a coffee later, I am still feeling that buzz. I am going to keep this for remembers.

Oh yeah the topic was about the application that allows people to use their phone as a “credit card” ie. similar to the Mastercards Tap and Go system. I will go now on artofjournalism and make a post about it. And will reblog here for you guys to inform yourselves.
